I took my six year old roller skating today for the first time today. While she did great, as all kids do, she fell many times. One of those times, she brought me down with her. While she bounced back quickly (after her many spills), this one wipe out has me laying in bed contemplating my life choices up to this moment. It also brings to mind a Sinbad joke that I shall paraphrase, shit that breaks at my age, stays broke.Though bruised, I am perfectly fine, the most damaged gland is my dignity. What hurts most, is that I pride myself on my stellar roller skating ability, and to be brought low by a six year old... via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2AqMTRC
