My partner is from the world’s most polluted city. It’s all over the news right now: it’s at toxic levels, government officials are calling it a “gas chamber,” people are moving their kids out of there... and yet, we are exploring taking our 2 year old there now to visit family for about a month, at it’s peak most toxic-time.I’m a mess. Reports have found that breathing the air is equivalent to smoking 50 cigarettes a day, and last time I was there I had horrible pollution sickness. I desperately worry about the impact on my toddler’s lungs/body/brain. Yet, I don’t want to be the naysayer and keep family separated. What would you do? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2QCRhmv
