Sometimes hard to read but necessary and important.So my daughter passed the drug test and got hired on Friday!!She starts a full time job on Monday. In talking with her, we agreed that since she had not been working for so long, that it was best to stay here and make money rather than be with family at the beach 4 hours away. She will have Thanksgiving off, and will cook a Friendsgiving. I gave her two cans of chicken soup, and some Pepperidge Farm cookies to celebrate.In addition, we have found a center here where she will get a complete diagnostic checkup. She is looking forward to that and has opened up about her feelings of depression that she sometimes struggles with. She hasn’t ever done that before.She tells me she is so lucky to have us as parents and thanks me for not giving up. So yeah- as mad as I get sometimes, I can’t ever stop rooting for her.I’m sure there will be more challenges ahead, but this weekend feels good. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2OOQCfS
