My son (9) was at a birthday party yesterday and two of the boys were calling him and two other boys names, and ostracizing them from the group. The parents and us are friends—-in fact we are all a big group of friends. The boys will be at another bday party together again today. Would you say something or let it go? My son felt horrible yesterday and it was even worse that his best friend didn’t stick up for him either. I don’t want a repeat. Usually he is great and defending himself and brushing it off but it must have been really bad. Sometimes parents can get defensive so I’d hate for it to affect the friendship dynamic we all have but I also want to stand up for my son. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2A1JN5p
