We are expecting our 2nd child and am not worried about whether or not I will love them the same. I know I will.I know my parents had a favorite child growing up and it was never something any of us cared about. We knew that my little brother was the favorite and accepted that as part of life. My wife was the favorite in her family and her siblings feel the same way. She was the favorite and that was that. All of us have talked and said we knew we were loved the same so it didn't bother us if dad liked one child more or if mom liked one child more.It seems kind of taboo to talk about now though. When I ask younger parents if they have a favorite child they usually brush off the question or make a joke ("My favorite is whoever is annoying me less in the moment") but parents of older teens or young adults are more open to admitting that they have a favorite.Do most people have a favorite child and not admit it? How do you keep it hidden? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2FH3W6T
