At my wits end. I don't know what to do. I feel so defeated. I have a 4 year old nearing 5 next month. Idk what it is but he haaaates hates bedtime. He will be in a good mood, and at the mere mention turns on a light. He will slap things, scream, cry, whine, growl. Oh the whine. He will do it for a very long time until he passes out. We read to him at bedtime...if he allows it. I've thought he was on autism spectrum or have ADHD. He seems to get triggered when new changes happen. Such as the other day. A local hardware store was hosting a wood plane build session. He was gung ho about it. Right when we approached he was not having it. We gave up and took the kit home to finish. He also freaks the f out when we have to leave. Putting on shoes is his kryptonite. Can anyone shed any light? Will this get better? Is it normal his age? My wife and I are nice, playful and goofy but also discipline where needed. I mean hes a playful, imaginative, curious kid most of the time... via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2zjPJHp
