My girls are 13 and 12. They both have friends, but the older one has more. Today she was invited to meet up with some friends at the library, walk around town and then go to the movies. The younger one has no plans. My 12 yo is sweet and mature and gets along with everyone. I insisted she come along with the older one. We got into a big argument over it. The older one is showing no compassion or empathy here. She acts like her little sister is her enemy, not her ally. Am I wrong for insisting?
