I am the mother to one toddler son. I was raised with all sisters so raising a son is a new experience for me. I feel a lot of responsibility to teach my son how to respect women and girls, especially in today's current social climate. This is a very vulnerable topic for me to talk about because it hits a really deep spot of insecurity and fear for me when it comes to my success as a parent, so I appreciate the anonymity of Reddit that allows me to ask this question. I don't want to fail my son or any of the girls he will come into contact with as he grows older. For other mamas (and dads) of boys, how are you teaching your sons to respect women/girls? Does it change at each age (toddler, grade school, middle school, high school, college, adulthood)? And for parents of girls, how do you address this same issue from the other perspective? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2qSQAdX
