Last week a boy in my 6yo daughters SK class was bullying another little girl. He had the girl pinned on the ground hitting her repeatedly. The girl called to my daughter for help and she responded by pushing the bully off of his victim. The bully proceeded to get up from the ground and punch my daughter in the face. As the story goes, my wonder woman took the punch in stride and pushed the kid to the ground a second time and yelled a warning to stay away. This time he does / staff intervened.F#$% yeah. Parenting win. Everytime I think of this I get weepy with how proud I am. I'm over the moon that she came to the aid of her classmate when she saw the bullying. I'm impressed, but not surprised that she stood her ground in the face of a punch to the face and continued to protect the victim. She obviously wasn't too hurt, and we didn't notice any battle scars over the weekend. In fact we didn't hear about it until this morning as we were on vacation for a few days and she never mentioned it to us. Her teacher let us know today.I'm so happy that we seem to be successfully raising a strong woman who won't take this kind of behaviour lying down. She's my hero.I just wanted to share what I consider a win. It makes all the days of arguing with this little hard headed beast a little easier to swallow. :) via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Hdv7GL
