What is the best thing to do with a large amount of new/barely used baby clothing and supplies?

Don't worry, baby is fine. When she was born, we received truckloads of gifts from friends and family, most of which was never even worn or used due to the sheer quantity of it all. I was planning to try to consign it but there seems to be a lack of children's consignment shops in our area. I just got finished reading about how Goodwill isn't even really a charity but actually a for-profit business owned by some billionaire who makes it look like it's actually a charity. So that's a no-go. I just don't want to keep hanging onto it hoping a friend will have a baby girl at some point. And it's too nice to throw out.ETA: I want to make sure that if I donate it, the people in need actually get it, and it's not being rifled through by employees who take it all home for their kids. I once volunteered at a thrift store and this was very common. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2u3bzPh
