Bedtime nightmares - please help!

My youngest daughter is turning 4 soon and has just been completely crazy lately (my oldest was exactly the same and it was the worst). All day today she has been at 100% with the talking and playing and so absolutely exhausted I told her it was bedtime. She flipped immediately and started screaming. She brushed her teeth, kept screaming. I tried to read her a book but she refused to pick one from her own bookshelf and kept screaming about getting one from her sisters room. I told her she could pick one or go straight to sleep, she kept going so I told her it was bed time and turned her lamp off. She’s now been screaming for 40 minutes about various things, she wants me to lay down with her, she wants me to read, she wants me to open her sisters door (her sister is hiding from the noise), she wants a hug, she wants food, just anything and everything. What do I do??? I HATE withholding affection but my older daughter used to do exactly the same thing and now a psychologist has told me she pretends to be anxious to manipulate me so I’m completely lost (and exhausted). via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2GfC9tx
