I’ll make this short and sweet, I have an 8 month old little girl and she is the best baby in the world. Her dad and I were together for four years, he found out I was pregnant, graduated from university here in the states, and left to go back to his life in England. He’s not even on the birth certificate.I have a long time before I have to start answering questions about this to her, but my parents were not great parents. Narcissistic mom, abusive dad. I don’t know what it means to be a great parent, and I’m already one step behind being the only one caring for her. I don’t want her to have the same daddy issues I do, but it seems inevitable.
