My wife and I are expecting our first child this September and we couldn't be more excited. Additionally, every couple on or around our street have either recently had a child or are expecting themselves for a total of 7 babies this year which is great. We are a very close neighborhood, we all hang out with each other, and we have an open door policy throughout. However... our next door neighbors, who recently had a baby, are anti vaccine. On the advice of our doctor, our pediatrician, and common sense we have decided to severely limit, if not avoid all together, contact between our children at least for the first year or so. How do you have that conversation? It should be as simple as explaining that this is the best thing for the safety of everyone's children but is there any way of doing that without destroying our friendship and fracturing the community? At the end of the day the health of our baby trumps anything for me so if we lose that relationship, then so be it, I'm just fishing for any advice one of you might have. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2rGSg8A
