Hello /ParentingTwo days ago we lost our beloved family cat dead in a neighbours garden, needless to say we are all heartbroken. So far my daughter has taken it well. We have explained to her what has happened to him (our cat) and she seems to have a pretty good grasp on the situation. She does however keep asking to see him to give him a cuddle; which as you can imagine is utterly heartbreaking for us because whilst he is at the vets and we are able to go and see him until tomorrow. We are at a loss whether to allow our daughter to do the same. On one hand she didn't get to see him before he passed away; and i'm finding it hard to deny her what she wants in this case, but on the other I don't want to traumatise her too much.So i'm at a loss what to do - i'm pretty sure there is no right answer in this situation, but in my own grief i'm at a complete loss. Thanks via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2rNkuCP
