Nephew has herpes on nose. Been 10 days. Should I avoid going to their house with my twins?

I have twins and grandma is visiting. She is staying at my brothers house who's 1 year old has a herpes lesion on his nose (probably from mother's kisses and small cut on nose). We are supposed to have a get-together there tomorrow. The baby has had the lesion for about 10 days.We are pretty determined to go but I wanted to know what people think/get advice.... is this a case of simply avoiding direct contact? What about touching furniture or the rug in the playroom? Should we cancel the whole thing (would ruin the whole idea of g'ma visiting and devastate my sister in-law)Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2oT7MR6
