We have a 3 year old son. He has slept in out bed since he was 1 month old. I breast fed until he was over 2. I always wondered how/when he would leave the bed and I just figured when he's ready he will.4 nights this week he has asked to fall asleep in his bed and he has with no problem. He usually doesn't make it to the end of a story. I'm elated. My husband, on the other hand, carries him into our bed before my husband goes to sleep.I very frustrated by this. I've offered to lay in our sons bed or room with him. But my husband insists that he sleep with us. I argue that if we leave a night light on he can find his way into our room at night. My son wakes up and says, "I was sleeping in my bed", like he's totally confused upon wakening in the morning as to why he's not in his bed.My husband will also carry our son from the car to the store or to a house we are visiting. I think it's quite time our son learns to walk responsibly and pay attention to traffic while holding hands, which he does when he's with me.There's so many ways my husband "babies" him. Husband is a SAHD, so he's the primary care giver. How do I convince my husband that our son is not an infant and can totally handle growing up? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2nRC9UI
