Baby needs to go into surgery to remove an extra toe, when she turns one.

Has anyone had experience with removing an extra toe on their baby/toddler? My baby was born with an extra pinky toe on one foot. There is a bone in it and a nail - but it gets in the way docs suggested to remove it when she turns 1. Has anyone gone through the polydactyly surgery removal? I am scared about general anesthesia etc via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2p15YCz
