Our family dog passed away saturday night rather unexpectedly.We told our 4 year old son, and he broke down in tears, but after removing her body from the home within an hour he was back to normal for the rest of the night.Yesterday however he was acting up very much, and in naming his pets (at night time he always goes through a list of who he loves, mom dad pets etc,) he skipped right over her without hesitation, almost like he had already forgotten her or she never existed.Hes still asleep, any suggestion on this going forward? Hes a very bright child, but i want to make sure hes able to let things out, not bottle them up, but i dont want to keep bringing it up and upsetting him. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2dUiNvU
