My 10yo son wrote this suicide note, but he says he doesn't want to kill himself - any advice?

This is more like me venting and asking if any other parent has been in this situation. What did you do?My ten year old son wrote this suicide note today, he handed it to me when I was picking him up from the after school program with a cover page that he diagnosed himself with "extreme depression."He says he does not want to kill himself but he also doesn't want to be an ugly nerd or a dumb good looking guy because he wants to be like me...(not trying to compliment myself) he says he wants to work at NASA and be good looking too. He does well when it's just me and him but I'm a single mother, working full time and doing my PhD part time so we spend time after school when we're cooking dinner or on the weekend when we're going out on an adventure.So we talked for a while and I heard all sorts of frustration about his a few boys in his class not wanting to be friends with him because they don't like his science jokes or his science stories.So I'm made an emergency appointment with his principal and I'm talking with her and his home room teacher in the morning before class starts tomorrow.http://ift.tt/2eugz2C via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2eno8Kd
