I have a 4 yr old who uses my old iPad to Facetime/iMessage his dad and watch age-appropriate shows on Netflix/Hulu (Thomas Train and Chuggington mostly). I want to get him his own iPod Touch for Christmas since the old iPad doesn't have the iOS 10 update and I plan to continue to impose limits on it's use such as not letting him keep it in his bedroom. His dad is vehemently opposed and says this isn't an age appropriate gift. I would like your opinions, fellow redditors, please! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2eep3gW
