At wit's end with 3.5 y/o behavior

I am at my wit's end with my 3.5 y/o daughter. In the past month or so, her behavior has taken a turn for the worse. Not listening to repeated requests/ instructions, screaming directly in my ear, hitting, kicking. Her behavior was atrocious at our family's Thanksgiving this weekend and that was the first time I was actually embarrassed about it. Admittedly she has had a LOT of change in her life in the past few months (new baby sibling, new house, and a new daycare) but things are actually more settled/ routine now than they were a few months ago. We try to practice positive (not permissive) parenting but none of our previous techniques are working (eg giving her a count of 5 to do requested activity). We have been taking away priveleges- screen time, sweets, stories at bedtime, etc. We also just started using time outs today so will see how that goes. I have never been this angry/ frustrated with my child before. It is getting to the point where I just don't want to be around her. Help!!!??? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2P20JjU
