MIL fed baby food without permission

I'm probably just being a baby, but I also just wanna release about it. We were visiting my husbands mother and grandmother today, along with my 3 step sons and my almost 4-month-old daughter. MIL had a chocolate milkshake and was holding my daughter, and jokingly said she was gonna give some to the baby. I told her no, no milk until she's older, and that we aren't doing solids for at least another week or two as it is. I sat down to play a card game with my husband and the boys, and when I looked up, MIL had a spoon with some milkshake on it already in my daughter's mouth. I laughed it off and said no more, but it really hurt my feelings. There's a good chance my daughter is going to be the only child I'll biologically have, as my husband may not want more kids, and I feel like her experiencing her first taste of food was stolen from me. My MIL means well, and she's a very sweet woman, but it's just made me kind of want to cry thinking about this. Am I being irrational? I feel like I am. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2V3SoNm
