Like everyone else, I've been told to avoid any screen time before the age of 2. That makes total sense and is perfect in theory, but I'm running into a bit of a issue.I'm a full time mom and a part time illustrator. I digitally paint illustrations for children's books and book covers. This takes about 25 hours a week. Most of it I do while my 4 month old is sleeping, but sometimes if I've got a deadline coming up, I have to cram in extra time. This usually averages out to about half an hour to an hour a day of me holding my baby in one arm and drawing on my tablet with my free hand. He likes to watch the screen as I draw. I try to talk to him while I'm drawing and describe what I'm doing, but I worry that the effect of 'screen time' is still going to be a problem.I'm hoping I'm just overthinking things, or misunderstanding the idea of 'screen time'. Either way, I'd love to hear what you guys think on the subject. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2LTZKnx
