so, I have a teenaged niece she's a pretty decent kid I think, but whenever I try to start a conversation she will just stop me in mid sentence with "yeah, I don't care" now I think that's flat out fucking rude and it kinda pisses me off cause I gotta hear her talk about her drama, so most of the time I let it slide by telling myself it's a phase and she'll grow out of it cause I've usually been right in that instance I don't wanna blow up on her and yell at her cause that does more harm than good. it kinda hurts though to hear a close loved one basically tell you I don't care what you have to say go away so any advice on how to break her from this habit? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2IWAYAI
