My 13 year old son spent 1600 hrs this year on his phone and computer. This is with parental controls. Not quite sure yet how I feel about this.

Mostly minecraft/discord combo. While school is in 3.5hrs weekdays, 7.5hrs on weekends.Threatening to block access is how we get him to do chores and help around the house. Am I doing it wrong, or is this the new norm? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2GhFZSl
