How to get smoke smell out of doll?

I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit for this post. My grandma (daughters great grandma) gave my daughter (2) an old baby doll that was my great grandmothers (daughters great great grandmother.) Everyone in my family basically smokes except for my husband and I and my siblings so this thing has been through years of smoke. My daughter was given this while we were visiting for holidays and is now attached to it. My great grandma passed away when I was 16 and lived beside us for a good majority of my life, so I feel it would be very disrespectful to get rid of it since she had collected them (they’re not worth anything.) Is there any way to get the smoke smell out of this doll? Should I get a similar one and give it to my daughter in hopes she won’t notice and store the other one? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2WDns8Q
