My daughter has a kidney problem for which she needs to take a daily dosis of antibiotics (basically to prevent her from getting a bladder/urine tract infection which would cause more damage that that kidney).last week we got a message that her normal antiobotics are no longer being produced, so we got a alternative from the doctor.Problem is that she absolutely refuses to drink them because they taste bad. If we try, she goes are far as letting herself puke and starts fighting us to get away. Ofcourse this makes her very upset and she/we start to dread the evenings when she has to have another shot of medicine...This morning she actually woke up crying and pleading that she doesn't have to take the medicine anymore.. - we tried mixing it with her desert, or something to drink, but she notices the taste in a instant. -We also tried asking her nice, and explaining calmly why it's important -we tried being strict and demanded that she would take it -we even tried to force her take the medicine (which made us all feel horrible afterwards)Any tips for desperate parents? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2WFddAL
