The Great Toy Purge of 2018

So I’m going through my sons toys today (uh HOLY SH** he has so many!) because Christmas is coming and I want him to learn to give and not be greedy and keep toys he doesn’t play with etc etc. How do you get past the guilt of getting rid of toys that are 1. Gifts from family and 2. Just getting rid of toys in general? It sounds so silly but I’m feeling almost guilty putting his toys in the donation box. They’re toys from the bottom of his box that haven’t been touched or played with probably EVER but I still feel weird doing it. Any suggestions to remove that attachment I have to his toys? He’s two and most of the toys I’m donating are his baby toys so I’m sure that’s part of it!!! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2DM2Wxn
