My 8 year old son is in 2nd grade. A few times a year they have an award ceremony at his school and invite only the parents of students receiving awards. The awards are usually for “Really Great Reading” or “Magical Math” or something along those lines. Every kid will receive an award throughout the year.Well, today was my son’s ceremony and I completely forgot about it. My wife and I were at home with our two babies and we both forgot all about it until my son came home. He received the Citizenship award, which is “the best award you can get” according to him. I remember them making a big deal out of this award last year.I feel like a bad father today. I can’t believe I completely forgot about it. I’ve been so busy with a new baby at home as well as a 1 year old. My son isn’t upset or mad or anything, but I feel like a jerk. Anyone else ever down something like this? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2EM17ks
