Husband and I are late bloomers thinking of having a baby. My health and eggs are good, but we only make $45,000 a year combined, and live in Austin, TX, which is an expensive town. I'm worried it will put us in the poor house since we kind of already are. I also worry about raising a child in this day and age on a low income, but I also want to have this life experience before it's too late.
