Should I correct child’s incorrect pronoun usage?

My daughter (6) has a friend (8) who I see just about every day. She lives across the street and all the kids have been playing together for about 3 years. This little girl has always said things like “Hims says we could” or “Thems wanted to play” instead of “he said we could” and “they wanted to play”. Just examples, she gets the pronouns wrong consistently. She mentioned one time last year that she’s in speech class at school so it seems her impediment (?) has been noticed but, it seems odd that it hasn’t been corrected yet. I’m wondering if someone in her home talks that way. Not sure.My question is, should I correct her when she says these incorrectly? Would she benefit from someone she sees frequently reminding her? I will definitely NOT do it if it’s unhelpful or would make her feel bad or embarrassed. What do you all think? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2O3KpfG
