My daughter has always loved food, and always seemed to eat for enjoyment. We've always been aware that her eating is a little excessive but decided not to do anything at all, never say a word to her about it and hope she learns to self regulate. She is at the very top of the normal range for her weight, looks a little chubby, which is totally not a problem. The problem is the sneaking treats and hiding wrappers, planning future meals after having just eaten, over eating during meal times, saying things like "ohh I'm so full but I just want to keep eating", doing something she calls "savoring" where she will lick her last piece of chocolate for 20 mins etc.Seriously, we just want what's best for her but I don't think it's healthy that she carries on this way. I've tried to give her opportunities to learn self regulation and one day let her decide when to stop eating from a bowl of chocolate. She finished the bowl and said she felt like she might vomit :/ Any tips? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2D3f5Ne
