What's your kid's health insurance rate?

My six year old son will be spending a year with his mom, and she doesn't qualify for state insurance so he'll be under the plan offered by her employer. She's asking me to pay for half each month. It works out to $110/month.I've only ever been covered by Medicaid, so I'll admit I'm not familiar with private insurance rates. Does $110 a month seem excessive for a young child, or is that normal? What do you guys pay for your kids?EDIT: Looks like it is reasonable, then. Thanks everyone. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2qfzfuI
