Help My 12 yr old son has adhd medicated on 72mg concerta during day and 150mg catapress at night. Late evening he sneaks and steals food from kitchen. No biggie since he eats very little during the day. But I noticed last week one of my alcoholic drinks (premix vodka 4.6% alc/vol) was open and a few sips missing and put back in fridge with lid on Tonight I realise 4x 275ml premix bottles are missing! I don’t drink much (once every few months)so they were at the back of the fridge- There’s only me and him in the home So over a week he’s taken them - How do I deal with this calmly. How do I explain to a 12 yr old his medication + alcohol = chance of serious health problems Without freaking him out. And please no negative comments- not smart on my part leaving alcohol I agree No I don’t get drunk - I will have a few once a month or so after bedtime I need help. He’s a good kid. Never gets in trouble. Top of his class. In many community groups and well known in townAdvice welcome if you’ve been through this. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2vgphyS
