Ex husband is angry with me because I gave condoms to our 23 year old daughter

My daughter and her partner of 3 years are on holiday to a few countries. They left on Saturday. My daughter was late to the airport (she's never been the most punctual) and was finishing up her packing in a hurry. I heard her asking her sister if she had any condoms. Big sister said no, and so I got some and gave them to her. She just responded with a sheepish laugh.My ex MIL was at the house to see my daughter off. Even when I was married to her son, we didn't have the best relationship. At times, my ex would act like he was 15 again, consistently submitting to her will. Anyway, ex MIL saw me giving condoms to my daughter and she wasn't happy. Promptly called my ex later that day.He in turn called me and went on a rant. He said I'm encouraging "promiscuity and debauchery" in our daughter. I asked whether he would prefer our daughter have unprotected sex, and he said she shouldn't be sexually active until she is married. I told him he was being ridiculous - she's a grown ass woman. He also shouted at me for being okay with my daughter and her partner sleeping in the same room when they visit.
