Our 5 month old has been sleeping in the bed with us for the last few weeks. It's the only way we can get a reasonable amount of sleep every night. He wakes up ~hourly (usually from startling himself) and whimpers/cries until he gets a pacifier. When he's in the bed I wake up and get it back in his mouth nearly instantly and all is well again. My wife sleeps heavy and doesn't hear him when he's in the bassinet until everyone is wide awake. I don't mind him there now, I actually prefer it, I'm just concerned about later when it comes time to move him out.How much am I going to regret this decision? How tough is moving him out of our bed once the time comes?Any suggestions on how to get him to stop waking himself up? He can't (properly) put the pacifier back on his own yet, nor can he roll over yet. I've heard both are important to him sleeping more soundly. He's over swaddle blankets. He wriggles until he's free every time he's put in one. Thanks in advance. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2HqM2os
