Is it important to encourage activism in your kids?

Parents of younger kids: How do you talk to your kids about political activism?Parents of older kids: Do you encourage your kids to be activist?With everything going on I was wondering about this. I know a lot of preteens and teens have participated in walkouts and there are more to come. I know a lot of the kids are only interested in getting to walk out of class for a little bit but it made me wonder about youth activism at a larger scale.
