I have social anxiety so i try to avoid going to the field trips but will go to of course the xmas parties and so on. My daughter is in kindergarten and her dad was supposed to take her today. Apprently he came down w the flu from work and hes 100% unable to go. I have school and a quiz but our daughter was really looking foward to having one of us going. So I pmd my professor and told her i cannot come today bc hubby is sick and daughter has field trip.So im dreading the drive but hey anything to keep a promise. I do not do interstates and almost got off the wrong exit but eventually i got thereMy daughter looked so sad seeing other parents w their kids and she finally saw me and her face glowed like a xmas tree❤️ (insert feels here)Her classmates are so amazing and being anle to talk w parents who go through the same stuff as you just made me feel at ease.Looking foward to more... sry for the long post via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2DGsLtq
