Hi there! I’m having an issue with my sons teacher. He is in first grade. Yesterday he asked to go to the bathroom and his teacher refused his request stating that she did not allow students to use the restroom while she was teaching. He started dancing bc it was an emergency and she informed him that if he had to go, then when he was done he should go to kindergarten bc he wasn’t big enough for first grade. I’m furious. I understand she is trying to teach structure, however publicly shaming my son in front of his peers is WRONG. I have a meeting tomorrow afternoon. This happened in Florida.
