My granddaughter is not gifted with the same metabolism as her mother so is struggling to keep fit in her household. Both her parents work and don’t have much time to cook and seem to think she should just have smaller portion sizes of their takeout food (they eat lots of pizza, chicken, and microwave meal, just due to convenience.) But the portion sizes she’d have to eat for that to be viable leave her starving. (Not to mention without enough nutrients.)They were thrilled to have me do some cooking for them. My granddaughter hasn’t been exposed to many healthy foods. I’m trying to do it up so that they’re fun and exciting rather than intimidating and a let down next to KFC (because to be honest, most food is Ha!) Pin Interests has been super helpful in this regard. This is what’s on the menu for this week, if anyone has any recipe suggestions or general tips to make healthy eating fun, I’d love to hear them.
