My daughter constantly amazes me, she's 7 next Friday yet acts more grown up and with more compassion than half the adults I know,She's come back from the weekend at her moms with birthday money, money thats meant to be for toys and stuff , I mean she's 6/7 that's what it's meant to be for, Sunday is normally our takeaway night as a treat as ive not seen her since Friday its something for us, now down to bills and her birthday presents for next week I told her that I couldnt afford it this week only for her to instantly say to use some of her birthday money, I told her I couldn't yet she has insisted so tonight my daughter is buying me and her dinner and she's ever so happy about it.Tears were most definitely shed in a few private minutes.Before anyone says I shouldn't even use it at all, I will be replacing what is spent tonight in the middle of the week when money is available again, but she doesn't need to know that because right now she is over the moon and I'm as proud as hell. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2nOvMTQ
