A few days ago I was surfing r/parenting while baby was napping - the usual. I was reading a thread about babies pooping in tubs. I must admit I was proud, and a little smug, that my perfect little baby has never done such a thing. Fast forward to last night. We're bathing Jack, just like we've done for the last 380 days or so. We're all having a great time, baby's splashing around, smiling, learning about gravity. Then, without warning, he grips the side of the bathtub, looks into my eyes, grunts, and makes "the face". Husband and I exchange a knowing glance; he's comfortably submerged in the bath behind baby. His face changes from understanding to panic as he says, "it's done," followed by, "get him out!" I grabbed the laughing baby, husband and I sprang into action. This was one milestone I would have been happy not to experience. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2oaFKPZ
