Our 3.5 year old daughter started being extremely social and vocal at a young age. She is not shy at all and will introduce herself to just about anybody. Lately she's been playing with the neighborhood kids on a frequent basis. There's one major problem we're seeing. She does not understand "personal bubbles" at all with other children. She wants to play with them, but she will literally walk right in front of them talking to them the whole time - asking them to play, asking them questions, etc. She does it to the point that a couple of the kids have gotten frustrated and annoyed at her. Then she comes to us heartbroken thinking that the kids don't want to be her friends. It's sad, but at the same time we can see why. She's very...persistent.We always try to explain things to her, so I have sat her down and explained personal bubbles. When she's playing, however, she is distracted and just doesn't think about it. She just doesn't seem to be grasping those social cues. What are some ways we can make her more aware of when she's being too personal without also squashing her social nature? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2otjIIB
