My wife is at a loss when dealing with our toddler.

My son, our first child, has just entered the toddler stage and it has been very hard to deal with.He has all the, what I believe are standard, toddler symptoms: mood swings, frustrating independence, screaming and flailing when he doesn't get to do what he wants, etc.My wife is not handling this well. She becomes exasperated quickly by him and can't handle the screaming to the point where she will break down and cry.I am trying to take as much responsibility for him as possible but I have no idea how to help her.
