Parent to be, wife absolutely needs a TV on as background to sleep

We're due in May. We're rearranging our room so that the infant won't be able to see the TV, but it will still make sound. She's not particularly open to wireless headphones. Will the TV as background noise interfere with the newborn? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2j860UP
