Good afternoon all, I would love any and all advice. This is extremely hard to talk about, but here goes… My son (13) was diagnosed with a blood disorder late last year. He is out of the hospital and back at home. I am pretty much a single father, and I do not have a lot of family in my home city (Phoenix, AZ). I have to go to work and I have to trust in my son to take his morning medicine and hydrate throughout the day. Lately, he has been ignoring his morning and night medicine. He also doesn't drink much water. He would rather eat junk food and drink soda. I feel conflicted. He has been through so much, but I know he needs to start taking better care of himself. I want him to see how important it is to hydrate, eat healthy (with the occasional splurge) and take meds. How can I help him to take his medicine, eat better and to hydrate? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2kcFVc8
