Hello I'm (23M) my daughter (5F) So my child thinks her stepfather is her real dad. I'm not sure how to take this. I have her every weekend but I wish I could have her more (court order). Should I be concerned with this? It hurts me to hear her say that all the time. How should i react? She looks to me more of a babysitter than her father it feels like. So her mother and I split when she was still two years old. (Messy break up) Stepfather has been with the mother since before we split and has been there for my ex and child from what I understand. I'm happy that they are happy together but I want our kid too understand that he's her step parent. How should I talk with my kid about this? Should I wait till shes older and can understand better? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3b4bHPS
