My mom has the cold sore virus, and she has kissed my baby like one time, but I’m scared and have anxiety about her kissing her again. My baby is 3 weeks old and I’m worried she’ll get sick or gets a virus. I barely even kiss her, and my mom believes in kissing and exposing babies to things to build up their immune system, and always tells my little sister to kiss my baby and encourages her to. It’s easy for me to tell my little sister to stop and to not kiss her, or to only kiss her clothes, but I don’t know how to tell my mom. Should I say it as a quick “mom don’t kiss her she could get sick” or sit down and have a talk with her. I strictly made my boyfriend tell his mom only air kisses, but I’m having problems telling my mom. Btw I’m a new mom, and 17, so I don’t have that much experience but I’m kinda freaking out, what if my kisses already gave her viruses, or what if that one time my mom kissed her already gave her the cold sore virus..😳😳😳 have I failed already????
