My husband and I took the day off to discuss responsibility, respect for women, girls, sex, cause and effect, decisions, life goals, with our 13 year old (my stepson) after we found some questionable conversation and photos with his girlfriend. We've had these conversations, but it's definitely time for us to intervene more and let him know we're available for advice, direction, or just to talk without feeling embarrassed or scared of getting in trouble.These kids want to act like they are grown up and on an advanced level based on their discussions and the way they talk with their friends.Funny thing though. . .While we are waiting to take him to lunch he's in the living room watching Frozen 2 and singing "into the unknown".So innocent. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2HNuba9
