My 5 year old broke the TV after we told him not to throw things at the tv 3 times. He is a defiant child and hates listening to authority. Naturally he does what he wants when I walk away for one second. I would like to know what you guys think would be a suitable punishment that is not too harsh but would really teach him a lesson. I spoke with my girlfriend and thought maybe punishment by education might be a good idea.
